Well, greetings to anyone who happens to read this. The year is coming to an end, and I think the site has come a long ways since I started back in May. Even so, I’m still trying new things that I think will improve the site. You might have noticed I’ve already made a few changes.
For starters, I’ve made a news feed, which is what you’re reading now. So, full success there.
I’m also in the process of breaking up the articles page. There’s now a master list which condenses all the articles to tables for easy searching. I’m also planning to start a new page at the start of the next year to keep the articles chronicled by year.
Finally, since I have comments disabled on the actual articles, I’m looking into making a contact form if anyone wants to write back to me. Not entirely sure what I want from that yet, but the thought is rattling around in my head.
As for the future of the site, I’m hoping to be a bit more consistent with my posts. Going forward, I want to be able to post an article every weekend. they won’t all be full articles, that’s still a bit out of reach at the moment, but I’ve finally built up my collection enough that I can put up a 30 minute review any week that doesn’t get a full review. Ideally, I should be able to do a full review every other week, but I don’t think I can hold myself to that just yet. Bottom line, SOMETHING will be posted every weekend going forward.
So with my new goals in place for the site, let’s look forward to an entertaining new year!
